We understand that starting therapy could be a challenge. Let us help guide your journey!

  • Where do I start with therapy?
    Contact us! If you're unsure about where to start, send us an email at katie@phoenixpsychotherapyllc.com so we can determine whether we are a good fit for your therapeutic goals.
  • What kind of therapy do you practice?
    We adapt our approach for each individual's preference and needs. We primarily use a mix of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
  • How does Out-of-Network work here?
    As an out-of-network provider, we offer the option of courtesy billing to our clients. This consists of us submitting the claims on your behalf, and typically we would receive payment directly from your insurance company. Due to this arrangement, we are able to adjust our out-of-pocket fee and offer a sliding scale depending on your out-of-network benefits. For new referrals, your assigned therapist would be happy to call your insurance company and collect your benefit information for you so that we can give you a clear picture of what your payment arrangement would look like.

    See below! Rates are determined by the type of pay and your insurance policy.

In-Network

We are currently in-network with Aetna.

Out-of-Network

All other insurances will be billed out-of-network, provided that you have out-of network benefits. If you are unsure, we can arrange for me to check your benefits for you. In most cases, I agree to courtesy billing for you. This means that I will submit claims to your insurance on your behalf, making the process simple for you.
